As the leader overseeing People Management within the Americas region (which includes USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina), I drive initiatives across Learning & Development, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Organizational Culture, and Diversity & Inclusion. I collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the strategic management of tools, programs, processes, and communications essential for designing, preparing, and delivering development offerings and recruitment efforts.

Manage the People Management and Total Rewards topics and act as the Regional HR Business Partner for the General Management, Business Units (BUs) and all Group Functions (GFs) at LANXESS Brazil, acting as strategycal partner for implementing and managing HR programs, policies and procedures, in alignment to the people strategy, fostering the Org. Culture aiming at the business growth, company's competitiveness and ensuring a high employees' engagement, being guided by the global strategy and following the Brazilian legislation.Lead the execution of HR activities according to the targets established by the global HR and management team, guiding and monitoring the fulfillment of the subordinates' tasks, ensuring their alignment with the processes, quality standards and deadlines established.Support the leaders to develop their teams through the right definition and implementantion of Training & Development offerings, defining the criteria for the hiring processes to ensure assertiveness in attracting new employees or internal rotations, supporting the succession planning following the Development Cycle results compared to the business needs and employee aspirations. Manage and monitor the implementation of Compensation and benefits policies, ensuring the right application of the predefined criteria, implementation of global compensation programs, manage the assignmnets process, and evaluate practices aiming at the standardization of the processes adopted by the local HR and regional level, as well as ensuring the competitiveness of LANXESS Brazil.Implement and lead the Health & Well being practices by offering experiences and programs to support the employees and their families to foster a better quality of life and employee´s best work conditions.Lead the HR Brazil in alignment with the strategy and local needs.

Lead the strategic planning and execution of HR initiatives and policies focusing on People & Talent Management and Total Rewards at LANXESS Brazil, throughout the leadership of a team of specialists. Ensure alignment with business and people strategies, while continuously monitoring and evaluating policies against industry best practices. Serve as a strategic partner to Business Units and Group Functions, driving LANXESS' competitiveness in attracting, retaining, compensating, and developing employees to ensure business sustainability. Oversee the implementation of institutional programs including Internship and Apprentice Programs, Onboarding, Performance Management, Individual/Team/Leadership Development, Succession Planning, Assessment, Coaching, Mentoring, and more. Contribute to the Organizational Culture Committee and support Digital Transformation initiatives within LXS Brazil.

During my short-term assignment with the Global People Management Team, I played a role in the design and implementation of comprehensive initiatives aimed at nurturing leadership capabilities and fostering talent development on a global scale. Collaborating closely with cross and regional functional teams, I contributed strategic insights and practical solutions to address complex HR challenges. My involvement extended across various stages of project execution, from conceptualization and planning to execution and evaluation.

Played a key role in launching the HR Department, overseeing the implementation of essential processes and policies, including recruitment, new employee onboarding, and organizational development initiatives such as Climate Surveys, Performance Appraisals, and Succession Planning. Conducted comprehensive benchmarking to establish salary structures for all grades. Managed dismissal interviews, introduced coaching concepts, and spearheaded endomarketing efforts while supporting the Branding Project.
