Product/Process DevelopmentManaged laser welding process transfer; to PR manufacturing plant.Assess, propose, and design fixtures, automation assemblies and modules for the manufacturing process of a transferred line. Participate in the Automation strategic planning, vendor selection and establish project requirements as part of company initiative.Design fixtures and assemblies using CAD systems performing the debugging, rework and implementation of them.Implement an Automation Laboratory at PR site where new PD group will assemble, debug, rework and set up the equipment before moving to manufacturing line. Establish and keep within budget to complete all phases of the project.Supervise project technician. Provide support to the employees assign to my supervision in terms of training needs, project activities, among other assignments.Participate in team to fulfill the requirements of our customer (JAPAN) for the project as the result of a particular application that initially do not meet the customer needs. Designed, built and debugged of a fixture that gave the required output that customer was demanding. All tasks completed within a week timeframe, gaining the customer approval to continue manufacturing and supply of the product.Process Development EngineerConduct laser process validations to increase manufacturing capacity and backup, in addition to optimize laser welding process output during validations.Benchmark the UPS system for the laser equipment. Analyzing the power capacity needed, the equipment assessment, the benefits of this project through final proposal of the system. The UPS system will avoid the abrupt interruption of the power that causes downtime (3-4 hours/laser) and possible scrap related due to power failure.

Provide technical support on the selection and performance monitoring of suppliers and the acceptance criteria of materials. Auditing of current Suppliers for technical, quality and manufacturing capabilitiesRevise and review of inspection procedures along with the design drawings.Provide disposition for discrepancies on incoming material with acceptable assessment.

Develop tooling with the purpose of product/process assembly in the introduction of new products.Responsible for the Post I/R Board Cleaning Process. This project includes process and equipment evaluation and benchmarking. Project also includes the installation of the wash equipment and the water recycling media system as well.

Develop tooling or machine design implementation with the purpose of product/process improvement, including concept analysis, design, prototype assembly, debugging test, proper documentation, using specified methodology/drawing techniques and support new design application.
