Who I AM: My name is Fabian Alejandro Torres. I am a bilingual son of a restaurant owner and grandson of a coal miner and rancher. I was born in Alabama, moved to Tennessee when I was 5, and have made made this great state my home ever since. I started learning various trades starting at 12 years old where I worked with my father when needed at the restaurant and joined my grandfather during the summer for ranch work. I balanced Football, Wrestling, school and work all throughout high-school. I did the same during college to pay for my own tuition, rent and living expenses.What I DO: I am known as a technical expert in my current and previous roles. I learn my tasks completely, experiment where I'm safely able to, and promote changes to make work as effortless as possible for myself and those around me. If there's a way to make our lives more productive, organized and stress free, I aim to find it. In my previous role of Service Coordinator, I was also the Dispatcher, IT Support Specialist, Warehouse Manager, Project Manager, Front-Desk Receptionist, Sales Processor and, when needed, General Handyman. I even installed all of the computer equipment in the building and set up the conference room including wall installations and technical equipment setup. Basically what I do can be boiled down to one simple answer. I learn and research better ways to do our tasks and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness for my company.My Education: Graduated from Centennial High school in May of 2014. I received a Bachelor's degree in Administration and Management from Middle Tennessee State University in May of 2018 with a 3.8 GPA. I graduated from the Army Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training in February 2020 with a Human Resources Specialization. I graduated from Basic Leadership Course in May 2021 and became a Human Resources Sergeant in January of 2022. I am now earning my certification in Professional sales and plan to return to MTSU to receive an MBA.I look forward to discussing how my skills and energy can bring value to your company.
