The client is pleased with the update. The user interface is more responsive, consistent and reliable; the code is much more streamlined and maintainable.- Partial rewrite of the MSD app, turning a patchwork of independent modules within iframes into a single-page application. Improved security, reliability, maintainability, and decreased code duplication.- We lost the possibility to print fishing licenses, so we needed to mail them electronically instead. I augmented NNRI to generate a registration card as a PDF document and attach it to emails sent from the front end.- An end user reported that some fishing sites on an island were not included within the boundary of the Alabama state on the Site Register map. I wrote a script to load more accurate county boundaries for coastal US states and Puerto Rico. I also updated the front end code to allow several shapes (polylines) per county boundary, so as to bound islands correctly.

Added a functionality (the user can now choose a component when creating a Jira issue) and corrected flaws.- Troubleshot issues as I moved web applications from WebLogic 11g to 12c, and from WebLogic to Tomcat.- Designed Google Sheets scripts/add-on to generate reports from Jira and help the QA team build their test plans.- Implemented a Service Provider with the OneLogin API as part of a Single Sign-On (SSO) architecture.- Updated a public-facing website to take user payments using the Hosted Collection Pages (HCP) SOAP-based web service of Pay.gov's Trusted Collection Services (TCS) suite.

Now an expert, even found and patched glitches in the framework!- Designed user interfaces, JavaScript client logic, Java servlets, as well as scheduled jobs to streamline government processes from 19 U.S. states and territories.- Automated manual operations: created a Python routine that splits large CSV files, grouping records based on user-provided criteria.- Improved the QA plan: devised a JavaScript/Ajax testing tool that calls a web service repeatedly (setting input parameters by listing the Cartesian product of user-provided sets of values), then checks the validity of the data in each response.- Worked with the Selenium API and created scenarios to automate the testing of a web application.
