-Analyze AutoCAD drawingsand make sure that they are being followed.-Detect problems, if any occurs, and report them to the site engineer.-Prepare a snag-list of all incompleteand interrupted activities.-Fill out a daily report including the manpower, the materials, the daily work, and on site purchases.-Report any defect or failure to abide by the regulations such as: The workers must keep the site clean at any time. For safety purposes, helmet should be used and safety boots. All shafts must be closed with steel bars to prevent someone from falling inside.-Inspect the steel bars by referring to the drawings and make sure that the diameter, number and placement of the bars is respected, that the length is correct and the spacing is appropriate.-Check the size, alignment, verticality (using plum-bob), stability and rigidity of the formwork in which concrete is poured.-Make sure that a sample of masonry blocks, steel bars and concrete is being sent to the laboratory in order to make sure that the quality of the material is according to the specifications.-Assist the site engineer’s quantity take-off for each material.-Check the anchor drilling and make sure that the plans are being followed.-Inspect the shoring system works.-Report any defect of finishing works such as: doors, doors lockers, gypsum works, tiling…-Inspect the finishing works and make sure that the client’s requests are being respected.
