I founded my company "Chessability NY" with the intention of giving students of all ages and backgrounds a general chess curriculum that encompasses all different phases of the game. As part of the curriculum students learn tactics, strategy, middle-game theory, opening theory and endgame theory as well as many of the diverse philosophies of the game that include classical chess, positional chess and hyper modern chess. The ultimate goal of my curriculum is help every chess player find their own unique style of play so that when the moment comes to play other people in casual or tournament settings that player can enter any chess setting with a rare confidence from knowing that he or she is playing towards their strengths.

I am a lead chess instructor at the NY Enrichment Group. I run chess classes at various charter schools that they are under contract with. Some of these charter school networks include Atmosphere Academy, MMCC and Coney Island Prep Upper Elementary School. I design and implement my own chess curriculums tailored to the specific needs of each student body whether the class consists of beginner, intermediate or advanced students.

I used to work as the overnight concierge at the building 111 West 57th Street, Saturday through Wednesday each night from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. As the overnight concierge, I was in charge of the safety and security of the residents while providing each resident with punctual and amicable customer service. Other responsibilities included completing written research projects with regards to the surrounding neighborhood and its amenities, keeping track of office and maintenance inventory, and organizing all information internally through the use of BuildingLink software.

At this firm I interfaced with real estate agents regarding commercial properties in New York City and researched properties with the aid of Costar and Street easy and from such sources was assigned to organize this information into separate Microsoft excel documents.

As a consultant I was often assigned to work on research projects involving senior living and that involved contacting senior homes, sending these homes online questionnaires and putting down the information of each home on separate documents. Aside from these tasks I would organize files daily using Drop Box, a web based file hosting service.
