    As a project manager and Director of digital projects, I take great care of projects that take place in digital contexts with a specific focus on e-commerce. I dealt with several projects on Salesforce, Adobe Commerce (previously Magento), Shopify, even on a Progressive Web App format with headless CMS kind of architecture. And when the e-com is done, there’s launch campaigns to let people know they can make the most of a brand new shopping experience.Besides e-commerce, there are also video and photo productions, branding, social and digital marketing.Although I gained quite some experience in these kind of projects, I still enjoy doing them!On a broader project perspective, I am PMO on those projects that need supervision of several streams simultaneously, spanning from discovery to UX and UI design, from frontend and backend implementation to digital marketing and advertising, from campaign creative concepts to shootings. Sometimes being a PM is not enough...For the organization I play a role in establishing and continuously improve project procedures along with my fellow colleagues in the operations team. Moreover, we plan the training for the PM department and take part in the definition of how the company should evolve from an organizational perspective. Sounds cool, right? It really is!Also, I enjoy interviewing and selecting new talents for the PM department. But that’s only the beginning: when the recruiting process is complete, it’s time for me to take them by the hand and provide them with the support they need to become autonomous. And that’s probably the best part of my job!

Some details? There you go!- multi-country e-commerce platform based on the integration of SAP Hybris with Adobe Experience Manager to manage product catalogues and promotions (though I must admit Drupal is quite a CMS alternative!)- 1st level Help Desk of a multi-country maintenance platform on Atlassian Jira (not that straightforward if that US contact form regular espression validation can be managed through the CMS, or if that user group required by Germany can access the page by using a unique voucher or password, I guarantee!)- Full project documentation on Atlassian Confluence (eg. Tech specs, UX flow, and all that stuff that PMs create/collect).Training (I’d rather say “showing teammates alternative ways to do things”) is something I enjoy very much. One day you might leave the project and when that happens, if no one realises you’ve handed over the baton, then you did a good job. Did you say pressure (put by others)? I prefer to call it (my) willingness to create the conditions for the team to (possibly) do what they’re good at, at their very best.

    In an environment that presents ever-changing challenges it is fascinating to take responsibility of processes that involve several people working together and need numerous production stages to be coordinated. Mine is a privileged role: one one hand I have direct contact with clients, on the other hand I supervise the creative team. On the account side, my work aim is to gain a deep understanding of clients' communication challenges, and suggest solutions by making the most of my knowledge of the creative contest. I strive at making sure the client and the creative team have common objectives clear in mind and that the client understands why and how the creative solutions proposed meet its communication needs.On the project side, I manage both digital and offline projects, taking different actions along the project lifecycle. Proof reading texts and various copy activities, among which company and product range description, newsletter creation, preparation of keynotes for pitches, are just some of the tasks I carry out. Operational activities are another part of the job, spanning the gamut from website content update through CMS systems (Umbraco and Wordpress) to website analytics (Google Analytics) and to newsletter results tracking (MailChimp). I oversee quality control throughout the implementation and constantly update Project mentors in alignment with the operational implementation schedule. This involves, among others, identifying critical aspects that may affect the expected delivery of each phase of the project. I consider of paramount importance coordinating the efforts of project team members on one side and the client on the other side, so that everyone knows what is expected of them and projects are delivered according to plan.
