Fabio Cozzi (Ph.D.) heads the Italian dispute resolution practice of McDermott Will & Emery and focuses on arbitration, court litigation, compliance, internal investigations and international trade. He has a broad experience, gained also working in the U.S. (in Washington, D.C.) in managing complex legal cases involving multiple legal systems and jurisdictions. He regularly assists Italian and multinational companies in connection with cross-border disputes and international arbitration proceedings (both institutional and ad hoc) investor-state cases and court litigation, also related to Independent Authorities’ sanctions. He also advises companies and financial institutions in the context of internal investigations and in the review of the compliance policies to prevent financial crime and international sanctions and trade restrictions violations.His dispute resolution practice covers a broad range of areas, including share purchase agreements, insider trading, construction projects, joint venture agreements, real estate, IT, energy supply agreements, bankruptcy and corporate law-related issues.
