SEADS - Sea Defence Solutions works for identifying and developing solutions to Ocean plastic pollution by intervening at the source of the issue.With this objective in mind, SEADS team developed the Blue Barriers, floating rigid barriers that collected waste in rivers and stop them from entering and polluting our Oceans.The invention patent has been filed and we are now working to build and install the first full-scale Blue Barriers.

Final dissertation developed in Jakarta - Indonesia, focusing on the impacts on river water quality of fast economy growth in developing countries.Collaboration with the Civil Engineering Department of the Universitas Indonesia, in order to developed a research that presents possible future scenarios for greenhouse gases reduction from waste management in Jakarta.Paper presented, as main author, at the 15th International Waste Management Landfill Symposium.The study is published in the conference proceedings.Obtained two sponsorship from UWS and UI for my study and for the Symposium participation.
