Responsibilities:- Extract, organize, transform and clean data from different sources (SQL, pandas, numpy)- Analyze datasets to extract relevant information (pandas, numpy, seaborn, plotly)- Build machine-learning models (scikit-learn, XGBoost, Darts, Prophet, FastAi, Pytorch)- Process automation- Web-scraping (Selenium, BeautifoulSoup)- APIs consumption (from GCP and AWS)Most relevant projects:Bed management - Conceive, build and deploy a time-series machine-learning model to predict the number of patients that arrive and leave each hospital unit daily. The model is used by the hospital to allocate staff and make decisions on opening/closing hospital beds. Used python, pandas, darts, and sql. The results are shown in Tableau.Covid Model - Created during the early months of the pandemic, the model helped to allocate hospital's resources. My part was to conceive, build and deploy machine-learning models to predict whether covid patients' health will deteriorate or improve and in how much time. The hospital was divided into three (ER, inpatient services, and ICU) and two models were built for each unit. The first is a classifier that predicts if the patient will deteriorate or improve; the other one applies a regression model to estimate how long it will take for this outcome to happen.Sepsis Selection - Python script to extract information related to Sepsis from the hospital's database. Using certain criteria, the script detects which patients may have had sepsis in the previous month and builds an Excel spreadsheet with relevant information about them. This project resulted in a 75% reduction in the time spent by the team that analyzes and reports on the hospitals' sepsis cases.Health Insurance Card OCR - Python script that uses GCP Vision API to perform OCR (Optical character recognition) on the patients' health insurance cards. The script downloads the relevant images from the hospital database and generates a csv file with the extracted information

(by the time, the federal government was not tracking covid data).Used Selenium, BeatifoulSoup, numpy and pandas and the final result of the project was a panel displaying the collected covid dataOfficial Gazette Scraping - Python script to scrap information from official gazettes of Para's state. It focused on information regarding land ownership. Uses regular expressions and python libraries such as PyPDF2 and OpenCV. 3 years of daily pdf files were scraped for this project. The result was a table containing the collected information
