Evolving as an M&A specialist gave me a solid foundation in finance but also a broad perspective of strategy, leadership, performance and negotiation. This expertise became valuable as I became an entrepreneur and honed skills like leading teams, engaging with investors and customers, prioritising, operating under uncertainty, raising, planning and managing cash. I’m passionate about learning and exploring new topics. Preparing for hundreds of investment committees I have enquired into a broad spectrum of matters from people centric to technical in nature. When approaching due diligence, the first and the last thing I look at are the financials but in between I relish the thorough discovery process to understand how multitude of decisions come together to take shape in the financial statements (including cap tables).I thrive working with teams to solve complex problems. I love facing a tough challenge, understanding its nature, testing assumptions, comparing viewpoints, finding and executing solutions and seeing results materialise. My approach is addressing the problem from the root cause, engaging, understanding, finding the why(s) and putting things on the table as early as possible. This approach has proven quite useful in negotiations. Personality reviews indicate that my main traits are being passionate, of high standards, driven to succeed, good decision maker, calmed under pressure, resourceful, ingenious and intensely intellectual, logical and analytical. I consider myself a team player who is well aware of the immense value that communication and team alignment have.
