Fabio Solarino, graduated in Civil Engineering by University of Pisa on 2017 with his master thesis titled "Interaction between timber and steel in high rise timber framed buildings", is currently Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Licord SpA managing his team within an innovative start-up company involved in the production of anti-seismic devices for historical buildings. In two-year experience he contributed for the product CE certification and company quality management system. He finalized his Ph.D. programme on April 2022 on retrofitting solutions on masonry to timber connections in historical constructions at University of Minho, in collaboration with University of Pisa.His research domains include masonry historical buildings, timber buildings, seismic engineering, numerical and analytical analysis, kinematic and rocking analysis.Structural dynamics and numerical/FE modelling are other interesting topics of the research.
