Senior Finance Analyst for Latin America in the FP&A Regional Team, focused on Overhead analysis and control.

In this role I am responsible for the reporting tools used to analyze 15 Latin America markets and the region as one. We used the Hyperion Enterprise and Retrieve for Excel tools. With these two tools I generated all the reports used to our ad hoc analysis, monhtly closings, forecast and budgets process. It included P&L's, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow and several ways to analyze expenses. Thus, I was the responsible to create and update the material used in the conference calls that we had with the FP&A local teams to discuss their results in the last month, for Forecast and Budget.As Enterprise was recently replaced by Hyperion System 9 I could create new reporting tools and shared with the Latin America countries. Also, in this role I can help the local teams to better use the system, being a champion in that matter.As a regional member I can also participate in the monthly results discussion, as well the Forecast and Budgets. I have contribuited with helpful analysis to the meetings that our Finance Leader joins over the year.

In the Latin America Regional Financial Planning & Analysis I could practice the financials principles that I was learning at college. It included the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and KPIs analysis. With this knowledge I could improve the reporting tools used.I could also help three new colleagues who joined our team during that time to understand our analysis concepts and the system that we used as well.In those first six months I had a great performance, recognized by my manager in the annual feedback meeting.

In this position I was responsible for the instructors team. This team had 10 to 14 people, many of them on their first professional experience. The instructors hiring and dismission was my responsibility as well organize and conduct weekly meetings with the team.Also, I could create and improve the classes content as well to implement a more dinamic didactics. I also implemented a personal contact of the instructor with their students, in order to decrease the dropouts. It had a significant result during those two years, since we could increase our fidelity level in more than 20%.

This was my first professional experience. With my computer experience gained during the technical high school, I taught over 500 students since their first contact with the computer moving forward to more complex applications. The classes were in groups (basic applications, as Windows, Word, Excel and Power Point) and individuals (generally advanced students and advanced applications).
