- Deliver WAN/LAN design solutions based on customer requirements, either for standard or complex networks. Responsible to plan, build, test and deploy the network design/architecture solution agreed with the customer;- Provide cost-effective analysis of different network design options; discuss the benefits and risks with customer of all possible scenarios until a decision is made;- Support account team (Account Managers, Project managers) providing current status of network tasks and pointing out risks, issues or roadblocks that may cause project delays;- Support pre-sales engineers and commercial team in developing commercial proposals to customers, offering products available in BT Portfolio (MPLS-IPCG, WebVPN/hVPN, Internet Connect Global (ICG) Cloud Connect (Azure, AWS);- Deliver upgrade recommendations to customer in cases of EoL/EoS devices, indicating new device models that meet customers´ need in terms of throughput/CPU/Memory and other items;- Deliver upgrade recommendations for WAN circuits where bandwidth consumption is high, indicating right bandwidth sizing (port/speed) that accomodates customer traffic;- Plan changes in the network environment as requested by customer or BT; evaluate risks and outages this may cause, and document it to customer; build the configuration script and set of tests to indicate if change was successful or failed; develop a rollback plan in case change doesnt work as expected.- Responsible for building technical network documentation, processes and network diagrams (HLD/LLD), Bill of Materials (BoM);- Provide technical training to BT resources (NOC, support teams, SME) that will support the solutions with deep-dive sessions for routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) switching (VLANs, SVIs, HSRP/VRRP, L2 security), ZBF, SNMP, and any other technology topic that may be included.

- Perform Capacity management of all network elements, infrastructure and services managed by BT, ensuring sufficient IT capacity to meet current and future business requirements;- Analysis of usage and performance of IT components, based on pre-defined thresholds;- Produce regular capacity reports that include current usage of resources, trends and forecasts;- Host monthly meetings with customer to present current capacity status, as well as review and discuss ongoing capacity/performance issues, changes and projects.- Recommend actions to customer, regarding the need for additional IT Capacity;- Perform quarterly Demand Management meetings to understand customer´s future demands, and define actions to adjust current capacity on network elements/services to meet and acommodate future services , based on customer´s growth forecasts.- Provide advice and guidance to all other areas of business on all capacity and performance related issues;- Ensure operational procedures are in place, maintained and followed as appropriate.

PE/backbone engineer, working on migrations of customers legacy networks to BT´s MPLS/VPN/Internet solutions. Job roles include configuration of WAN routing between CE and PE (BGP, static routes, QoS), configuration of L3 VPNs/VRFs on the MPLS backbone, IPSEC VPN / DMVPN setup; Development and review of technical scripts to be deployed during the change window. 3rd level network analyst, providing LAN/WAN support for BT customers, acting in complex routing/switching incidents and changes. Support problem management as a problem analyst, identifying root causes of recurring network issues and propose/implement permanent solutions.
