I started my professional journey by getting graduated in Nautical Sciences with emphasis on Marine Engineering at the Merchant Marine Officer's Academy (EFOMM) in Rio de Janeiro. Through this training, I achieved my certification as a Technologist for maintenance of machines and equipment. I also had several courses and trainings related to the work in the maritine and industrial segments such as: the confined space work course (NR-33), the health and safety course while working with fuels and flammables (NR-20) and others. After this stage, I developed my career in the Oil & Gas segment, onboard offshore vessels, supervising the operation of the vessel's equipments such as: diesel-generators, water and oil pumps, air compressors, sewage treatment systems and other hotel facilities in general. In addition, I carried out the necessary maintenance, scheduled or not, on this equipment to ensure its proper functioning. The bureaucratic part of this work was due to the construction of reports, monitoring and verification of safety procedures and the organization of the working hours of the crew engine department. As I am very communicative and speak English fluently, my adaptation to working with people from different countries was very quick. I even had the opportunity to work in Norway and in the North Sea. While working with foreign people, I learned to focus on results and, today, even if I lack full knowledge in a subject, I study, I research, I read and search for courses that enables me and I don't stop until I reach my goal. Despite my background being in the marine segment, today, I am also looking for challenges in the industrial sector that will make me grow personally and professionally because what is a ship if not a floating industrial complex?
