About Fabio Feroldi

I am developing advanced imaging technology to enable breakthrough research about the functioning of the human eyes, using interferometry and adaptive optics, a technology originally conceived for astronomic observations. During my PhD, I combined different optical imaging techniques using optical fibers, making endoscopes that allow to visualize the insides of the human body with high resolution and novel types of contrast. I was part of the whole process from the design to testing and using them, bringing the setup from the lab all the way to the clinic. I applied my expertise with interferometry to enable high end fiber sensing solutions for industrial applications in harsh environments.
