I am presently Board Member and Chair of the Remuneration Committe in Italgas, one of the major italian utilities; Board member in Antares Vision, leading company active in controlling and truck and trace systems, and in Gruppo Grendi, the oldest italian logistic and transport company. I have been Board member in the Italian air transport service provider ENAV, where I also sat in the Sustainability Committee, Remuneration Committee and lead indipendent directors Board Member in ASTM, leading international group in motorway management and infrastructures construction, where I chaired the Sustainability Committee; Board Member in Ansaldo Energia, company producing steam and gas turbines and generators, and active as EPC in building power plant, and member of the Remuneration Committee. From 2013 until 2019 I have been Board Member of IREN SpA, multiutility company active mainly in Nord West Italy; In the group I have been CHAIR of the Companies assembling all the activities in the water sector, Iren Acqua, of the listed controlled Società Acque Potabili and of IREN AMBIENTE, the company assemblying all the waste management acrivities. From 2013 to 2020 I have been member of the managing Board of Fondazione Carlo Felice, the Opera House in Genova. I have a Phd in International Law and various diplomas obtained in London, Paris, Hamburg, Milan, Den Haag, I speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, German. As Administrator at the EU Court of Justice and European Commission from 1992 to 2003, I was member of the Merger Task Force, the EUC Legal Service, the Cabinet of Commissioner Monti and the Cabinet of the Commission Vicepresident Loyola de Palacio. In the high tech Industrial Group Finmeccanica, now Leonardo I was from 2003 to 2006 Head of EU Relations of the entire Group, from 2006 to 2012 Head of the External Relations of Ansaldo Energia. As consultant on Communication, International Relations and Business Development I am promoter of different companies in the energy efficiency sector, and I am one of the main promoters of the port of Genoa development project called BRUCO.
