Four years ago, I started my journey toward a career in international relations, fueled by a deep passion for diplomacy and a commitment to fostering global cooperation. My undergraduate studies in International Relations and Diplomacy at Mercy University set the foundation for this path, and studying abroad at The American Business School of Paris and Universidad de Medellín gave me firsthand experience with diverse cultures and global issues.Participating in Model United Nations conferences in Washington DC and New York City was a turning point. I not only honed my negotiation and leadership skills but also gained a deep appreciation for the United Nations' work in promoting peace and human rights. Representing my country as the best diplomat in Kuala Lumpur and volunteering at CSW67 in New York City further strengthened my resolve to address global challenges, particularly gender equality and sustainability.One of the most rewarding moments in this journey was engaging with Portugal’s ambassador on the Sustainable Development Goals and collaborating with students from Spain and Portugal to promote youth involvement in global issues. These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating a sustainable and equitable future.Today, as a YOUNGO Climate Champion and human rights advocate, I’m proud to combine my passion for environmental sustainability with my dedication to addressing inequalities. From working on climate and education projects in Haiti to advocating for marginalized communities, I’ve remained focused on making a positive impact.I’m excited to continue this journey and connect with others who share the same vision for a better world.
