With the goal of attending law school, Fabiola E. Cruz is studying political science at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. Concurrently, she works in the legal department of Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where she serves as a birth certificate registrar and processes paperwork for parents of newborns. Prior to this role, Fabiola E. Cruz worked for various municipalities as a court clerk and hopes to one day return to the criminal justice system to support the community and its civil rights.Away from work, Fabiola E. Cruz spends her weekends volunteering at her local church. She offers tutoring services for students up to 12th grade, no matter their affiliation to the institution. Ms. Cruz also contributes to various nonprofit organizations that promote breast cancer prevention, including the American Cancer Society, where she served on the Survivor Chair Committee. Her other interests include salsa dancing and restoration of antiques.
