My first experience in the working world, was in November 1997 as a sales assistant, at a lingerie store called Corpus. My expectations were to earn enough money to allow me to have some financial independence while studying after working hours.In September 2000 I became part of a team in a company named Essential, a firm that provided services in consultancy and communication.As responsible for all the back office, I had my first contact with the whole area of management and secretariat. In September 2002 I took the decision to move forward and take on a new challenge.It was in October 2002, that I began my duties as an administrative assistant in the AACM - Alumni Association of the Military College, working directly with the board members, providing all the necessary administrative support. I ended my collaboration in January 2009, leaving for a personal Project. Being a full time mother of my 1 year daughter. One year later, on March 2010, I took on a new challenge. Assistant Director in the company GenoMed - Molecular Medicine Diagnostics, SA, once again working directly with the company management performing back-office functions both in administrative and human resources, as in the area of accounting and finance.As you can imagine, by now, I am not one to say no to a challenge, and in August of 2015 I moved to England to be with my husband who was working in Exeter since February of that year. There I took the role of manager of a charity shop, Mind Maters.2017 led to major changes in our personal and professional life. During our holidays in Portugal we had a major car accident forcing us to stay indefinitely in Portugal.By August of 2018 with life becoming a bit more stable and filling ready to get back to work, I received an invitation to return to GenoMed - Molecular Medicine Diagnostics, SA, this time to undertake a different Project with different functions in the área of planning and divulgation.2021, feeling a kneed for a different challenge and a change, I applied for a position at the company - Simarsul - and started this new step, in July.
