Wi2be, a company which I was a co-founder and CTO of, was focused on the development and manufacturing of point-to-point broadband radios for small Brazilian ISPs. My main responsibilities were managing IT and product development, creating new products and integration of financial products with the company backend (ERP).As the company's IT director and project manager, I was responsible for a variety of projects, supporting more than 750 companies all over Brazil.My main achievements were:• Managing development and support of hardware products that were responsible for roughly 20% of the Brazilian internet traffic• Development of new products managing multi-national teams (China and Brazil)• Development of financial (subscription-based) products, integrating hardware with backend ERP and financial controls• Talent recruitment and training of IT staff consisting of developers, support specialists and project managers.• Managing the IT team responsible for developing the company's software backbone, having created BI and CRM tools responsible for all the company's commercial and processes management• Integrating the company ERP software with subscription based financial products• Supporting more than 750 small/medium ISPs customers• Managing the customer support department, redesigning and implementing all of its processes and aligning it's goals with all the company's different departments, resulting in the market recognition as the company with best technical support and support products on the licensed radio market in Brazil

I started at IBM as a Java/J2EE/Websphere senior software developer. I was part of an international development team on two internal projects, reporting directly to a US-based team:• ESR: IBM's repository of common and shared Business Data Standards and XML resources used by all global teams of development. My achievements include complete Siebel (CRM) integration and pioneering asynchronous features that significantly reduced data usage on the network.• SWP: Part of a global sales strategy alignment, it was a full workplace that intended to help and improve sales.I also took part in a variety of side projects:• Helped creating security specifications for Webservices projects IBM was a part of.• Volunteered at the IBM Java Competency Center Latin America. • Volunteered at the IBM Unix Competency Group.• Volunteered at the University Ambassadors program.

I was hired as a Java and Websphere developer, having developed the whole 3M Brazilian branch intranet and projects such as:• Salesperson Incentive Planning: Intranet application used to track salesperson sales, those sales were then calculated and monetary incentives were given to each salesperson.• Intranet Professional History: Intranet application used to control employees’ professional history, such as last jobs, trainings and skills. The application was then used to identify employees that may need further training and high-skilled employees that can be used by other departments.• Vehicle Fleet Control: Intranet application used to control the company´s vehicles fleet. Application is used to control vehicle use and maintenance.
