About Fabio Marcuccio

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Human Technopole, specialising in gene regulation and spatiotemporal dynamics of gene expression. With a background in biomedical engineering and bio-nanotechnology, my current work integrates advanced fluorescence microscopy, RNA sequencing, and mathematical modelling to investigate the fundamental mechanisms of RNA dynamics using a systems biology approach.In the past years, I developed scanning probe microscopy techniques for the analysis and manipulation of individual mammalian cells. My technical expertise spans scanning probe and advanced fluorescent microscopy, single-cell RNA sequencing, bioinformatics, nanopore biosensing, computational modelling, and programming. I am also passionate about scientific visualisation and enjoy creating high-quality graphics using vector design software.
