Natural born Gamer, Linguist and Localization Specialist🎮 I started my full-time gaming career when I was 7 and have never quit since.GTA taught me English, Dragon Ball taught me Japanese. This imbued me with a fond love for languages and the different cultures behind them, and the ability to aptly grasp, interpret and translate every nuance, slang and humour the text needs.🎓 In 2018 I got by BA in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation studying English, French and Japanese at the University of Bologna with a thesis on Italian localization of Japanese anime.💻 I started my videogame localization career in 2017 and since then I have been working as translator and proofreader in a wide array of genres, ranging from famous AAA titles for consoles and PC to indie masterpieces for both consoles and mobile. I have also been working in editorial translation in several different projects like guitar magazines, strategy guide books and infamous role playing handbooks.🤸🏼‍♂️ I am the first European member of the Capoeira group Família Irmãos Unidos, thanks to which I have acquired extensive first-hand knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese and Brazilian culture, which I use everyday for work and in my personal life
