Support to the enterprise architecture function of the customer during the feasibility study and the analysis phase of a multi-year program aimed at replacing the present current account and lending IT platforms with a market solution, leveraging the international experiences of the bank. Definition of the bank enterprise architecture to support what-if analysis, impacts/effort estimation and solution design.Currently the program is working in its implementation phase and the enterprise is implementing the designed roadmap to achieve the first wave goals of the program.

Platform selection, architecture/business case definition and project roadmapping of an IT transformation activity aimed at replacing the legacy sales force automation platform with an improved market solution, consistent with the current enterprise objectives and market trends.

As a part of the international program "IT Synergies", aimed at defining and implementing a two-year IT cost-reduction program with a economic overall target in 2013 for the top 5 country of the group (a major multinational insurance company), I have been involved as an Enterprise Architect to support the "Applications" and "Standard services" workstreams during the first design phase.At this stage I was involved in developing tools for data collection and during the technical and financial analysis of the different cost-reduction initiatives defined by workstreams. The activities were aimed to build feasibility studies through the analisys of funcional and technical impacts (key factors, business impacts, constraints, ...) and the definition of the related business cases.Once identified, shared and validated by the top management of the group, a set of initiatives (> 50) has been approved and I have worked defining step-by-step targets and timing up the action plan.

During "front-end applications portfolio mapping" project of a major on-line bank I have been involved in the customization and roll-out of a mapping tool aimed at building an architecture map to support the definition of architectural impacts (sub-systems, procedures) of business requirements from initiatives that arise from demand and allow the customer at the same time, to be compliant with the requirements expressed by the law and the group policies about the availability of the documentation related to IT systems supporting the business of the group.

As a part of the PSD (payment services directive) I have been involved in the development of a prototype for mapping IT systems in the "colletions" functional area aimed at building a tool to support the definition of architectural impacts (sub-systems, procedures) from the interpretation of business requirements of the new European Directive on Payment Services (PSD, the Payment Services Directive), on the basis of Legislative Decree 36 of 13/02/2010.

As a part of a major program of a gas & power customer I participate to the "Meter Data Management" project in order to identify the optimal MDM platform defining functional, technical and integration requirements for the new MDM system. The system will aim to remotely manage a new "smart" counters network allowing metering and remote management.I have been involved in the definition of the feasibility study, in the definition of the Business Plan, in the drafting of the solution requirements and in defining the proof of concept to share with IT vendor to evaluate different platforms.

As a part of the definition of the three-year strategic plan for IT investments for a major insurance company, execution of an assesment of the IT landscape and definition of a convergence plan to reshape the IT support offered to the different companies in the group.During the project I was involved in the process of collecting, analyzing and publishing information and reports of the assessment phase (involving about 100 employees of the customer) and, in a second phase, in charge of the definition of the to-be standard architecture for custom application development and in charge of the definition of the to-be application lifecycle (tools and processes).

Implementation of the tourism information system of a major city in northern Italy to manage the process of organizing city events and publish events and tourist information by a web portal and a dedicated iPhone application.During the project I was involved as a software architect supporting the project team in design and implementation of several back-office java components (i.e. integrated messaging module, events ad system activities audit module, events calendar module for back-office operators)
