Cco And CooAdministração Do Porto De Maceió Jun 2020 - Sep 2021Maceió, Alagoas, BrazilIn May 2020, I became CCO and COO of the Port ofMaceió, subordinated to CODERN - Cia Docas do Rio Grande do Norte, and in this period we prepared 5 areas for lease, under the Program of Investment Partnerships (PPI) of the Federal Government: MAC10 (sulfuric acid terminal) auctioned at B3 on 12/18/2020; MAC11 and MAC12 (fuels, oil and derived products terminals) with auctions scheduled for 2023; MAC13 (sugar terminal) auctioned at B3 on November/ 2021; and MAC14 (wood chip terminal) auctioned at B3 in July/ 2021. In addition, we prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Infrastructure the temporary lease of an offshore support operations terminal to serve NITSHORE/ EXXON, which will begin operations in the Sergipe/ Alagoas basin. Another lease is in progress to serve BRASKEM with an imported salt terminal. In the final study phases, we have the copper of MVV - Vale Verde Mining, and the wheat of MCN - Moinho Centro Norte/ MOTRIZA.I also highlight the operational results achieved with cargo handling, its growth higher than three times the national average, in the order of 15.81% against 2019; an increase of 31% in annual revenues; and reduction in annual expenses by 61%. In 2021, we have already achieved a historical record for 1st quarter revenues, over 55%, and an increase of 29.5% in cargo handling during this period. The cargo handling grew 16.76% in the 1st semester of 2021 x 2020.The framework enabling more than US $ 60 million in investments and effective contracts of US $ 600 million has been built up, providing strong opportunity for 3,000,000 tons/ year to be reached in non-consolidated and total cargo handled, as of 2023. -
