Systems Architect and Technical Lead with extensive experience in various areas of Information Technology and Communications (TICs), especially telecommunications networks, data communications and embedded software and hardware systems. In more than 20 years of experience in systems engineering, I have had the opportunity to work on the design, development, integration, deployment and operation of software intensive systems at all levels, from physical elements to application software.I am currently the head of Systems Engineering at the Center for Advanced Studies and Systems in Recife (CESAR), where I have been leading for more than 15 years hardware and software engineering teams in the development of complex ICT systems and products. I'm also a researcher at CESAR School specializing in Decentralized Systems Architecture, a research line that spans several computer science and software engineering areas including Distributed Systems, Cryptography, Software Architecture and Algorithmic Game Theory.
