Starting on September 1st, 2024 as CEO of Consortium Kikokà Europe, a new venture for the development of yellow-fleshed kiwis. The Kikokà (Europe) Consortium’s members includes Italian companies Apo Scaligera, Clementi, Kiwi Uno, OP Armonia (organic), Peviani, and Zeoli Fruit; Innatis and Savajols in France; Spanish firms Agrihold and Surexport; and Arta Gold and Zeus Kiwi in Greece. Italian producer-exporter Rivoira holds the worldwide master license to grow and market the varieties.I have managed a team of young professionals in the Sales department for ten years (2007-2017) at VIP (apple production and marketing, South Tyrol, Italy) , focusing on sales planning, new markets developments, credit & risk management, quality in the relations with our customers and innovative thinking. Since September 2017, I also took over the responsibility of the whole Marketing department, with the objective of creating a stronger connection between sales and promotion/advertising/trade support, to improve our operational efficiency and speed in the introduction of new products. From season 2022-23 I moved to the role of Product Manager for managed varieties, focusing on improving efficiency of the most innovative "club apples" with a 360-degree focus in the Company, while also managing external relations with our partners and stakeholders.Since 2004 in this industry, I previously took care of the lobbying side, nationally and internationally (Ministries, European Commission, UNECE, Codex Alimentarius) under the umbrella of Assomela, the Italian Association of Apple Producers.
