Working on a leadership position was really a great challenge !My goal was to develop long-term plans and strategies to make TVPaint the best 2D animation technology on the market.This was including, but not limited to :- The expansion of the dev team by recruting C++ developpers and by working on some new technologies to include within TVPaint. The best examples being : LazyBrush, as Rigid as Possible, Textoon. All those Siggraph papers are now integrated within "TVPaint Animation 11 Professional Edition".- The managment of the sales and promotion team by finding new people to hire, by training them to the job, and by opening new offices overseas to improve sales and tech support.- The acceleration of various sales effort by building and leveraging partnerships such as deals with Wacom to bundle both software and hardware, or deals with schools, students and universities.- The work to put in place infrastructure and systems to support both the accounting and sales team, wherever in the world it was located. We choosed the CRM, ERP, Online-Store called "Odoo" (which is Open-Source), connected to a new protection system (Wibu). All this was done from an old and depreciated existing customer database- The portability of the technology on many existing operating systems (Windows, Mac, Android, Linux, I-OS).- Some work with attorneys on some intellectual properties questions such as NDA, EULA, etc.All this was done mostly by defining and coordinating numerous objectives with development and sales teams.During the time I was CEO, both the sales performance and the number of employees of the company have been multiplied by three, and its cash reserves by a factor of five.
