I'm a certified Azure Data Engineer (passed the DP-203 certification exam) and I have experience using Python and other programming languages to solve business problems, get new insights from data, and build useful pipelines, software and scripts. I have created an Azure Data Engineer Project, using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) with Terraform, that process all the over 1.6 billion rows from the New York City yellow taxi database and make them available in an Azure Data Lake and ready to be queried by resources such as Serverless SQL Pool in Azure Synapse Analytics.As a Python developer, I created a Django project that simplifies building CRUD web applications. This project is available on my GitHub account (https://linktr.ee/fabriciobarbacena) to any institution to use and adapt to its business cases. I also published this code as a tutorial on Towards Data Science, one of the most read Medium publications about Technology.I have used Selenium and other tools to scrape websites for data needed by my employees to make crucial decisions. I also automated tasks and processes that would have taken much longer for my teammates and me to complete manually.In the data analysis field, I created the first Power BI dashboards used in the sector where I work and helped to foment a more data-driven culture there. I also wrote an algorithm to rank academic researchers and institutions by their bibliometrics data. This work was written in R, and it uses Principal Components Analysis (PCA), one of the many machine learning skills I have acquired during my current MBA in Data Science and Analytics at USP (São Paulo University / Universidade de São Paulo).I'm a professional who can already bring great value to a company.
