I assist the management of the Charity School Bwejuu in the research of funds and new donors with the aim of funding the activities of the school-orphanage. I, thus, contribute to the design and production of grant proposals and to the implementation of the social and cultural organization's activities. The School is located in one of the most poor area of Zanzibar, Tanzania.

As the public face of the tour operator, the rep. must create an excellent first impression and ensure that everything runs smoothly for clients. Tour representatives may be "'on call" 24 hours a day. The role involves holding welcome meetings, handling complaints and resolving problems, as they arise, but also:- handling client issues, such as lost luggage or passports, allegations of theft or other crimes, health problems, injuries or even deaths- dealing with unforeseen "non-client" problems, like flight delays, transport strikes or weather conditions- resolving any conflict with or between clients- establishing and maintaining relationships with local hoteliers, apartment owners, excursion agents and travel companies- completing risk assessments and health and safety checks- keeping basic accounts and records and writing reports

As a member of the executive board I usually take part in the organization of small and big events (up to 2000 visitors), as well as in the coordination of the activities and volunteers (from 5 to 20 volunteers). This involves also the communication with both public and private entities, not only national but also foreign (in particular the Japan Ambassy).

Promotion and marketing activities on the streets, shopping centers and events in order to involve and motivate people to support the projects proposed by “Save The Children”

I assisted the management of the Palermo Massimo Theatre (the biggest italian opera theatre) in the organization of the Theatre's Opera Tour in Japan. The tour consisted in bringing in the most important Japanese theatres (Tokyo, Otsu, Hamamatsu, Nagoya) two operas: "La Traviata" and "Tosca". The workers of the theatre involved in the tour were 150.

I was in charge of making presentation files of associative international solidarity projects for the editorial board of “Altermondes" and writing articles for MIR website
