As a Full Professor of Structural Engineering at Roma Tre University, I have over four years of teaching and research experience in the field of risk assessment and mitigation strategies for civil and industrial infrastructures. I hold a PhD in Structural Engineering from La Sapienza University, and have published more than 100 papers on international peer-review journals and conferences. My main scientific interests are focused on the seismic protection of bridges, steel storage tanks, electric substations, and other critical elements.I am also the co-founder and Technical Director of SAFEPLANT s.r.l, a spin-off company that provides innovative solutions for the seismic protection of industrial plants and equipment. I have successfully led and managed several national and international research projects, collaborating with academic and industrial partners. I am the chair of the Seismic Engineering Technical Committee of ASME, and have received multiple honors and fellowships for my outstanding contributions to the field. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of structural engineering, and enhancing the safety and resilience of critical infrastructures.
