Account Manager & Business Developer

Hired initially as a Senior Systems Engineer, in 2004 I acquired the responsibility of one of the Competence Centers in the Technical Division; I have initially coordinated the Systems Engineering Competence Center, to which the Network Engineering Competence Center and the Pre-Sales Infrastructure team have been later joined under my responsibility, creating a structure focused on design, delivery and maintenance in the following areas: New Generation Data Center, Cloud Computing, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity, Networking, Unified Communications & Collaboration.As a manager of this team, I have also participated as a Program & Project Manager and Solution Architect for the most important projects.In 2010 Lutech became the 1st Italian EMC Solution Center and 3rd European VCE Lab; as responsible for this technological infrastructure, I dealt with the definition of architectures and their implementation until 2014, supporting Marketing in its promotion to customers and partners.While not yet having a commercial role, as a Lutech Competence Center Manager I supported the sales area, developing attitudes that the current function of Account Manager allowed me to bring to maturity.CCM activities were:- Monitoring of revenue and marginality of the competence center- Resource allocation (internal or external) for solution design and implementation- Supervision of projects (economical and technical)- Organization of the 3rd level support team- Recruiting- Planning and annual budgeting for training - Definition of personal objectives and measurement of results- Technology and vendor scouting- Management of partnership related to competence center- Presales support
