About Fabrizio Zanotti
Curiosity and a fascination with content are the stimuli that drive me to investigate new approaches and opportunities through my work in music. I produced the "Sacco and Vanzetti, canzoni d’amore e libertà" concert-film. The video was distributed by "l'Unità”, while the live show toured the whole of Italy, with performances at venues including the Sistina Theater in Rome, Rai Cinema, Rai Radio3, as well as at many festivals.I have released a number of albums, "Il ragno nella stanza" (Storie di note), "Pensieri corti" (Storie di note) in collaboration with the Libera contro le mafie association, “Sarò libero" (Primigenia / Gütenberg), “Luna nuova” (Fabrika Musika, Egea) produced by Fabrizio Cit Chiapello with a cover designed by artist Ugo Nespolo. I composed “Dieci dita” (Fabrika Musika), the soundtrack for Paola Gianotti's round-the-world bike tour which set a new Guinness World Record.I have played with many different Italian and foreign artists including Massimo Bubola, Giorgio Conte, Claudio Lolli, Deborah Kooperman, Ricky Mantoan, Konstantin Wecker, Ken Stringfellow. I have opened the concerts of artists including Mauro Pagani, Tazenda, Yo Yo Mundi, Giorgio Conte. My latest singles "Oxy bar" and "Serra Morena" will be included in the new album I am currently working on.In 2023 I conceived and created, together with Vanessa Vidano (journalist and anthropologist),the podcast «D'Artagnan, eroi comuni che fanno la storia» distributed on all digital stores.The live show 'Live Podcast «D'Artagnan, eroi comuni che fanno la storia» was taken from this work, which we premiered in Rome, Milan and Ivrea to promote the release of the podcast.In addition to producing albums and holding live concerts, I have created songwriting workshops for music schools, high schools, universities, training schools, team-building courses and interested groups; the aim is to help people build their confidence in their creative abilities.
