After working for a term at a public elementary school, I taught elementary and pre-Intermediate levels of English (integrated courses) to the students of Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Pharmacy for 4 years at Istanbul Medipol University. I have been teaching skill-based courses (academic listening and reading skills) at English preparatory class since 2015. Also, I have been teaching;- Introduction to Linguistics, - Business Translation,- Historical and Theoretical Approaches to Translation courses at Applied English Translation department (Associate Degree Program) at Istanbul Medipol University.In addition, I have been teaching as a part-time faculty member at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University (Translation and Interpreting Undergraduate Program). At this institution, I teach,- Discourse Analysis,- Translation Theory and Criticism,- Linguistics for Translators.My research interests are translator training (with a focus on translation competence), translation theories and intercultural communication. I have presented some papers in national and international conferences and I have some publications including articles and book chapters.
