The talents of craft maven Linda Facci, whose design career spans more than two decades, have been featured in magazines, on nationally televised home decorating shows, and covered widely by online media.Her handmade projects – from pet sculptures to jewelry to home design – have been showcased in The New York Post, In Style & Life Magazine, Art Jewelry, This Old House, Cottage Living and Grace Bonney’s Design Sponge at Home. Linda has been featured on television on ABC's The Chew, CBS, HGTV’s “Crafters Coast-to-Coast” and “Look What I Did”. Linda has designed product for Toys R Us, and she is familiar to online hobbyists as a Craft Expert on Ehow.com and ExpertVillage.com. Linda’s professional career began in magazine publishing, as Design Director at Life and People, Creative Director for In Style, graphic designer for Everyday with Rachael Ray and most recently Creative Director at Magnolia Bakery. She turned her hobby into her next career and is now running Facci Designs full time felting mini dogs. In 1999 Linda, based in New York City, took her passion for restoring furniture and homes to Woodstock, NY where she purchased a 1930's cottage fixer-upper. During the renovation she met her husband, craftsman Gene Gironda. Today, they spend much of their time renovating their 1940's stone house, maintaining their garden and working on a variety of DIY home projects together.
