Dr. Babak Azizzadeh is the Clinical Chief of the Cedars-Sinai Division of Otolaryngology and Managing Director of the Center for Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery. He is the co-founder of PERSANA, a tech platform that seamlessly connects patients in real-time with world-class aesthetic physicians, as well as MACRO Trials, an end-to-end infrastructure platform to support physicians and health institutions in conducting FDA clinical trials. After completing his training and serving as a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Azizzadeh joined Cedars-Sinai and has developed multiple healthcare ventures in state-of-the-art medical & surgical care, tele-health services, clinical trials, research, education, and patient empowerment entrepreneurship. Dr. Azizzadeh has been recognized by his peers, Newsweek, US News & World and Castle Connolly as one of the nation’s top plastic surgeons and a global leader in facial plastic surgery, specializing in deep plane facelifts, facial reanimation, and rhinoplasty. His expertise has garnered widespread attention from major media outlets, including The New York Times, CBS, Elle, Oprah, The Doctors, CNN, and Allure.Dr. Azizzadeh serves on the Board of Visitors at Duke School of Medicine and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at UCLA.
