I am adaptable and very task oriented. I have worked in several industries (Intelligence and Defence, Health, Immigration, and most recently Natural Resources) and am able to apply skills learned elsewhere to the task at hand. I worked across a number of projects at BHP Billiton Minerals Exploration as a Project Manager/Business Analyst, managing project delivery from initial needs capture through the Build process. I also developed a standard service model for information management, and modeled costs for two large exploration projects. I have led teams in several organisations - I have well developed coaching skills in business analysis, user centred design, and knowledge information architecture. I have also worked across project teams to integrate business analysis and user centred design into various waterfall and agile SDLC models. I have set up and managed competency centers/centers of excellence in multiple organisations.Amongst other things, I have advised the Australian Government (Departments of Education Employment and Workplace Relations, Department of Immigration and Citizenship) on usability and accessibility of SAP ESS, IBM Websphere Portal and several other COTS products.I am capable of moving from the strategic to the tactical as required - I have written policy for government organisations, developed strategy and strategy implementation roadmaps, written project and test plans, developed detailed functional specifications, managed user acceptance testing and defect reporting, and undertaken cost and resource modelling in Excel. In summary - I am a talented generalist with specialisations in project management, business analysis and user experience design.
