Games fascinate me, in that they're a multifaceted medium that attracts enthusiastic, positive mindsets from players and unique creativity from developers. As someone involved on both sides, my purpose is to incorporate the experiences of these transactions of play into everyday life through the many forms games can take.Sometimes, it's quite involved – like having a BSc Games Development, or co-founding a games studio that's been to PAX Melbourne and SMASH!.Other times, it could just be a touch – with projects as small as developing livestream layouts for fellow streamers, to as large as a full solution (content curation, competition, website, and equipment) for the purposes of showcasing at local conventions.During my time at uni I decided to take on Visual Communications subjects for my electives. This has led me to creating and establishing a high quality standard of multimedia assets for a variety of scenarios from hosted online events (during our 'tougher times'), to educational videos. I may have also collected a bit of marketing know-how on the way...Creative writing is one of my hobbies. (Yep, that NaNoWriMo participation streak is still going strong since 2011.) Said hobby has given me the passion to create a storyline and text for previously mentioned game development assignment, MegaFun. Check out the demo reel in the featured section!
