Mr. Facun is a retired Seabee and Navy Chief, with over 20 years of distinguished military service and 20+ years experience as a construction, facilities, and project supervisor. He has coordinated and managed over 500 construction and security projects worldwide, and secured over $5.2 million in construction and labor savings. He has successfully led teams in the design and implementation of short term, small-scale projects, and complex long-term, multi-phase and multi-million dollar projects. He is familiar with contract development and adherence, inspections, administration and accounting, management of large budgets, and production of written documents and reports. He is knowledgeable of federal and state level safety and compliance requirements, and has the ability to implement specific institutional, departmental, and project procedures. He has successfully collaborated with a vast array of multi-cultural community members, business leaders, military personnel, domestic and international authorities at all levels to rapidly assess, develop, and implement appropriate plans and projects. His experience in combat zones and large scale military initiatives has provided the backdrop in which he has developed incredible resourcefulness, independence, creativity, and level-headedness, all which contribute significantly to his work in the civilian sector. His international and domestic experience has honed his communication skills, and working in vulnerable and stressful environments has required that he demonstrate high levels of risk management, critical thinking, and work effectively as part of a multi-tiered team.
