Field Epidemiology Training Program (Fetp)
Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Kulon Progo
Wates, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Field Epidemiology Training Progtam (FETP) combines rigorous education with hands-on experience, providing trainees with a comprehensive understanding of public health practices. During my tenure, I had the privilege of spending 67 weeks at the Kulon Progo District Health Office, beginning in December 2021. Here, I worked closely with the Surveillance and Immunization Section within the Disease Prevention and Control Department. My role involved a range of responsibilities, including data entry for the Early Warning Alert and Response System (EWARS), leading outbreak investigations as Principal Investigator (PI), and collaborating as a co-PI. Additionally, I conducted evaluations of surveillance systems and disease control programs, contributing to the enhancement of public health initiatives.
