Delox is a spin-off from Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, whose founders developed dryVHP – a new hydrogen peroxide releasing technology. Thus, the project Delox started with the goal of developing a set of dryVHP-based sterilizers.

With Delox, I was part of a team that participated in the 8th edition of this technological accelerator program. The participation in the first boot camp was concretized with a successful pitch, which won the Best Pitch at BGI. The second boot camp closed with a pitch in Web Summit and it is scheduled a third boot camp for Boston, USA.

COHiTEC is a competitive training program for researchers and technologists developing start-ups, designed to teach technology commercialization. I was one of Delox researchers in COHiTEC 2016, focused on developing hydrogen peroxide-based products.

In my master's first year, I performed a research project within the Redox Biology Group at Chemistry and Biochemistry Center. Our focus was to develop a redox therapy that could ultimately accelerate wound healing in a chronic wound.
