Budget : KD 231.9MResident Engineer and Senior ArchitectNBK Children's Hospital for Oncology: Budget: KD12M Senior ArchitectNBK Head Quarters: Consists of 56 storey building with a unique complicated design, in coordination with F+P Architects to ensure requirements of the design intent, covering all complicated aspects of the design from the crown to the curved precast fins, to curtain walling system etc. Budget: KD 113M.Some of the job duties are: •Leading in resolution of construction problems taking into consideration all contractual aspects.•Reviewing and providing necessary comments/approvals to the contractor’s technical submittals including and not limited to drawings, materials, method statements etc. •Liaison with the client & project management maintaining strong relationships through regular and effective communication.•Constant coordination between the client, project management and the contractor, managing RFI process ensuring high standards of design is executed on site.•BIM Model review of submittals and coordination with all trades GRC, Curtain wall system and MEP, design is done and reviewed prior to implementation on site to avoid possible clashes which may impact work on site and progress accordingly.•Managing and reporting on the financial management, ensuring timely invoicing, coordination and review of Interim Payment Certificates.•Attending cost control meetings between client representative and contractor to ensure project budget is maintained and avoid any negative impact on project progress of work on site.•Resource allocation: Interviewing & hiring resources in collaboration with Project management required on site for the projects.

Automated Car Parking Building (1 basement, G +12) Total of 1056 car palettes, Roof recreation area with full floor coverage, link bridge to serve the hotel.In addition to my job duties as a Head Architect I was involved in auditing the design which was done in Singapore by SRSS and the submissions to DM, CDA, and other authorities. Budget: 1.5 billion AEDDesignation: Head of Architecture Site Operations / Architect Jumeirah Beach Residence, Sector 5: Comprised of 5 towers both commercial and residential,Budget: 589M AED.Other Projects: Sama Tower, Burj Dubai Lake Hotel (The Address), JESS School, Sky Garden, Iris Bay, Alshafar Development, Ibis Hotel chain.Some of the job duties are: •Auditing of project design prior to issuing for construction as requested by Construction director though it’s been checked by head office designers as an extra precautionary measure to avoid discrepancies between specifications, drawings, BOQ etc. & ensure interface details are reliable for proper execution on site, leading reduction of variation orders by the contractor.•Reviewed and provided necessary comments/approvals to the contractor’s technical submittals including and not limited to drawings, materials, method statements.•Provided technical detailing guidance, and assistance to site architecture engineering team ensuring implementation of established architectural and design procedures and problem solving throughout the projects (lessons learnt to avert repetition of any possible claim by the contractor).•Liaised with client for coordination prior to final decision of any changes that may be requested including cost and time implications.•Assigned daily correspondence to Site Engineers for their review and comments and ensure it’s done in a timely manner or even expedite the review time, depending on its impact on site condition.
