Representing ADMA OPCO (Marine) in offshore oilfield projects on board construction barges and cable lay DP2 vesselsROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Ensure contractors’ marine activities are carried out safely. include planning, directing and coordinating all the marine objectives related to offshore pipe laying, cable laying and construction projects;• Carry out inspections of intended marine units to be used within the project, working with contractors , ensuring compliance of all project specific, marine and HSE procedures;• Monitor/ review anchor patterns, anchor handling, running/ re-running of anchors;• Participate in risk assessment related to marine activities;• Carry out periodic vessel audits on Marine spreads.• Ensure compliance with Company’s professional/ technical safety standards and approved operating procedures. Provide technical and practical marine advice to the concerned contractor’s ;• Decide actions during emergencies.• Inspect and approve marine units prior to their commencement and during operation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards;• Monitor marine activities of contractors involved in Company’s projects and the projects of other Companies whose activities may overlap Company areas, this includes procedures and ensuring that all aspects of the operations meet the Company’s and Governmental requirements;• Ensure that pipe-lay barge anchor positions/ wire tension and drag are monitored to be within the approved parameters and advise as and when action is required to overcome drag;• Ensure compliance with the company’s requirements, approved standards and established marine procedures and participate in acceptance inspection and technical audit to ensure satisfying such requirements and standards;• Undertake regular marine safety audits/ inspection on offshore structures especially work barges and all contracted marine units.• controlling all emergency situations ; investigates marine related incidents/ accidents.

Master on board variety types of vessels including (AHTS, PSV, SSRV, Utility vessels)
