Fadi Chahine, a seasoned entrepreneur, is currently the Managing Director of 8 Dimensions, an integrated interactive digital media agency that helps aspiring regional small and medium sized businesses to grow their revenue, profit, brand equity & achieve ambitious growth.Until recently, Chahine was the MD of Regional Press Network (RPN), a corporate intelligence service provider and source of news and information about, and from the MENA region. RPN was acquired in 2016 by a regional media firm. Chahine has over 15 years of experience in the media industry, both in print and online.Chahine was previously the Managing Director/Partner of the Dubai-based Zawya.com, an information services firm. He directed and managed the establishment of the company’s offices in Beirut, employing and managing over 120 employees. Simultaneously, Chahine was the Managing Editor of Zawya Dow Jones in Beirut. He successfully, built a region-wide financial newswire and established a network of journalists across the GCC, Levant & Egypt.Chahine was the lead strategist for Beirut’s The Daily Star Online edition, responsible for the integration of the offline & online editions of the paper. Also serving as the paper’s Online Editor, Chahine spearheaded the full redevelopment and deployment of the paper’s website increasing online revenues by 500%.Chahine started his career as the CEO/Executive Editor of the U.S.-Based Middle East News Services, an online news portal that provided daily news & information from the MENA region to a global audience. He worked closely with product development and execution teams, in developing and deploying next generation content and e-commerce distribution platforms for micro-portals and the Web. He also structured in excess of 100 content and 24 product alliances in North America, Middle East, Europe & Africa. Also, in parallel, Mr. Chahine was the Director of news content development at the Washington-based AllAfrica Global Media.
