Committed to sustainable peace and inclusive development, I strive to deconstruct and transform structural divides and discriminations by fostering ethical leadership and engaging everyone in the process. This conviction has become an unshakeable engagement throughout my professional path, combining three dimensions nurturing each other: executive leadership, academia, and policymaking.Through my current role as Executive director of Globethics, working globally for ethical leadership and good governance, as well as my former founding and executive management role at Adyan Foundation, which became an award-winning instrument of change-making and peacebuilding in the MENA region and beyond, I have successfully deployed and further developed key skills, such as: • Executive management and Non-profit governance• Strategic planning and impact assessment• Resource mobilization • Team leading & MentorshipAs Associate Professor and director of the High Institute of Religious Studies at Saint-Joseph University (Lebanon), Senior Researcher at Geneva University, as well as professor or guest speaker (Chicago, Tokyo, Dubai, Paris, Montreal, Muscat, Yogyakarta, Rabat, Munster, Rome, etc.), I have been sharing the outcomes of my research in peacebuilding, cultural and religious geopolitics, dialogue and human rights. I am honored to see the impact of my thought leadership through my global engagement as speaker, and the translation of my writings into more than five languages. In this field, I have successfully applied more skills such as:• Public Speaking• Teaching & Training• Conceptual & Analytical Writing My engagement in the civil society and the academic fields nurtured my capabilities in taking the causes I have been working on to the policy level, to produce the needed structural changes. Thus, I have found myself engaging the decisionmakers for peace in Iraq for example, or currently collaborating with multilateral organizations (UNESCO, ITU, etc.) for ethical and trustworthy governance of artificial intelligence, enacting my skills in:• Advocacy and stakeholder engagement • Policy Dialogue In 2020, I was humbled seeing my leadership recognized by winning the Elevate Prize, awarded to "global thinkers and changemakers."
