I assist with the development of patient progress note updates, while receiving exposure to patients with severe neurodegenerative disorders in various hospitals within the Steward Healthcare and Baystate Health hospital systems. I am constantly observing the processes required to determine most ideal treatment options for patients, with the oppurtunity to learn through the dialogue of doctors and nurses.

I gained medical experience through shadowing at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett MA and the Leonard Florence Center in Chelsea MA. I rotated between different medical departments, including Neurology, Emergency room, Psychiatric Ward and Surgical services. I developed my empathy and caretaking skills through several types of patient exposure situations, ranging from intensive care units to elderly homes.
