I was inspired to start a teaching website where teachers can advertise their services to parents. As I identified a particular opportunity in Iraq where there was a total lack of competition with no tutoring websites.Long story short, I found out the hard way why there was no competition This was because there is no digital banking in Iraq, and no way of exchanging funds between teachers and parents online. 98% of employers in Iraq pay with cash.The project is currently on hold as I am developing an alternative\ creative way of transferring payments between the parties involved. This experience is what started my new passion for studying banking technology and what eventually led to me joining a great startup called Enable Banking which is at the forefront of advancing banking technology in Europe!
