Cell-Free Massive MIMO) real-time,high-performance-computing (HPC), software-defined radio (SDR) system.• Led transition from monolithic, spaghetti-code, small-scale proof of concept into high-performance, scalable commercial software/hardware system with original, high value-added features including: o Low-latency, fully parallelized multi-user multi-antenna precoder on high-core count CPU, o Software-based picosecond-level distributed remote radio heads (RRH) synchronization, o Compressed data fronthaul to RRH via nonlinear quantization, o Layering of pCell with existing LTE standard resulting in the highest practical improvement inspectrum efficiency in the history of wireless communications using commercial user devices(60+ bps/Hz/m^2 in 2014, >10x increase).• Created all-software LTE stack architecture definition from Physical Layer all the way upto the Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW). Led hands-on development and field deployment.

Aquantia, now part of Marvell Technology, is a leading developer, and global supplier of high-speed connectivity solutions for data centers, enterprise and automotive applications. Its signal processing-intensive multi-gigabit Ethernet transceivers link data centers, mobile infrastructure and in-vehicle networks. It went IPO in 2017 (NYSE:AQ).I made key contributions to Aquantia's analog/digital signal processing engine from first test-chip to the 1M+ multi-gigabit Ethernet port shipment milestone. I covered many aspects of the hardware/software signal processing system at the heart of Aquantia's physical layer devices from new ideas, analytical modeling, algorithm design and implementation, to bring-up, performance tuning and testing for high-volume manufacturing. I solved the hard problems needed to win accounts at Tier-1 OEM's such as Intel and Cisco in spite of relentless competitive pressure from large-size incumbents.

Agere Systems specialized in chips and optoelectronics components for communications gear. Agere offerered a host of integrated circuits used in telecommunications and networking equipment, as well as in hard disk drives. Agere completed its spin-out of Lucent Technologies in 2002 and was previously known as the Lucent Microelectronics division. It was merged into LSI Corporation in 2007, which was acquired by Avago Technologies in 2014, which later became Broadcom Ltd.I developed signal processing analog/digital hardware structures and algorithms and promoted improved design methodologies combining analog/mixed-signal simulation and numerical analysis software tools.Projects: Equalizer for multi-gigabit serial backplane transceiver, PCI-Express, Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet.
