As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Sourcenets Gambia and Tanzania, I played an integral role in developing software solutions that helped to simplify and streamline revenue collection systems in the entire Gambia. Our team worked closely with a local company called Ecotech to develop an Android app and dashboard web application that scaled the revenue of the country by almost 40%.Our flagship project was the municipal tax collection system, which we piloted for a year and a half. The success of this project can be attributed to our deep understanding of modern web technologies such as Java, Node.js, and Vue.js, as well as our ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.In addition to the municipal tax collection system, we also developed a payment gateway called Plus Pay Africa. We integrated this solution with one of the largest network providers in the country, Africell. This project involved a significant amount of API integrations from their teams in India and Malawi, which helped us to deliver a high-quality solution on time and within budget.At Sourcenets, we take pride in delivering innovative solutions that solve complex problems. As a Front-End Engineer at Natkern, my main responsibility was to design and develop various graphic design projects, including a scoreboard and LED displays.
