Current- Assessing students: Evaluating students' abilities and needs, and monitoring their progress - Creating IEPs: Developing and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student - Planning activities: Creating activities that are tailored to each student's abilities and learning style - Teaching: Providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities, and teaching in a variety of settings - Communicating: Discussing students' progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators - Preparing students for transition: Helping students prepare to transition to the next grade or to life after school - Managing behavior: Monitoring students' behavioral patterns and intervening when necessary - Collaborating: Working with other professionals to create holistic intervention plans - Creating a safe space: Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive
